This is a most individual and complex Godello. Its character reflects the minerality of the slate soils at Portela and is enhanced by the discreet use of French oak which carries through to a secondary level and provides the structure for ageing. It is made from grapes grown on the family estate, picked parcel by parcel (peza) to maintain complexity, and transported to the winery by refrigerated truck. Notably fresh yet full-bodied, with good weight of fruit and balancing acidity.
